Video Depositions

The Video Deposition, especially since the advent of trial presentation technologies, has become a powerful tool for trial attorneys to have at their disposal both during discovery and at trial.

Benefits of Video Depositions include:

• Capture the testimony of unavailable expert or key witnesses.
• Jurors view testimony without interruptions because objections are ruled upon prior to trial.

The microphones and audio mixers used are specifically suited for video depositions. Our technician monitors the entire deposition via headphones to minimize the effects of background sounds and to make sure that each participant is heard equally well.

All video is captured using High Definition and/or Digital technologies recorded directly to your choice of DVD, MiniDV and/or VHS and is also constantly monitored during the entire depositon.

• The edited testimony allows fact-finders to see and hear the deponent's actual demeanor during testimony rather than a third party reading the transcript.
• Many nuances of communication are documented on videotape, including inflection, tone of voice and many other non-verbal expressions.
